About MUA
Miami Union Academy has its roots firmly embedded in the Bethany SDA Church. The school was founded in 1917. In spite of a history checkered by challenges at every level of its painful growth, MUA is presently a Pre-Kindergarten 4 through twelfth grade school.
This prestigious accomplishment became a reality in 1987 through the combined efforts of its administration, local school board, constituency, and the Southeastern Conference officials. Miami Union Academy stands today, a living testimony of faith, insight, and perseverance of its founding fathers.
Miami Union Academy is accredited with the National Council for Private Accreditation and the Accrediting Association of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. These organizations are recognized by the State of Florida and the United States Department of Education.
